Sumon Roy is a 28-year-old production designer based in Mumbai. After studying architecture from Jadavpur University in Calcutta, he went to the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, to study art direction and production design. He has been an assistant art director on a number of films and commercials. Peepli Live is his first feature film.
